Default Lost of air tires

I lose like 5psi every week on my tires. Ever since winter started, I haven't took my car out at all, it just sitting outside in the cold. While the preesure is losing each week and i never put air ever since. Is it ok to let it sit there like that? I know if i wanna take it for a spin, i gotta put air in it.

if pressure is too low and the car is just sitting there, it might develop flat spot and potentially bubble if pressure too much on the sidewall

my 2 cents

I'd take the wheels out and bring them to a shop to get it inspected if you're losing 5psi each week.

On average, a tire will also lose 1 psi for every 10 degree ambient temperature drop... Plus tires can lose about 1 psi per month...

If it's been a couple months and the temperature has dropped, then sounds like you just might need some maintenance, IE refill the tires with air... especially if they are all even...

As mentioned, a tire with low air pressure just sitting is more likely to develop a flat spot, which can be annoying once you start driving the car again...
