Default Wheel Damage, Pics Included

Hi,

So I came home today excited to see the boxes of wheels outside my door. I look at the boxes and immediately notice the boxes weren't in that great of a shape. So I think to myself, hopefully the wheels will be packaged nicely. Sigh, with my bad luck, they weren't. I immediately check for inspections and noticed that one of the wheels was damaged. Was it by UPS or the seller? who knows, nothing I can do about that now.

What I wanna know is if i should just get some color matching paint and lightly go over the damaged part, or send it off to some wheel fix via discount tire company?

Pics below, thanks.

why cant you do anything about it? Either the manufacturer shipped them damaged or they were damaged in transport. I would contact the company you got the wheels from and let them know what happened and include the pics if they need it. It probably happened during transport so UPS should be the one to foot the bill to have this repaired

If you must I would try some colormatching paint. It looks to be a small enough area to disguise, and if its not perfect you can always send it to get fixed.

1. Didn't buy from retailer, if I did, I would definitely complain, bought from user

2. UPS dropped it off without signature and left, thus I don't think I can claim damage since I believe you have to actually inspect the item before signing the acceptance package delivery.

thats not true, you can always file insurance claims.. ask the seller if he had insurance ..if he has tell him to file a claim ..everything has to be done by the seller if he didnt insusre the wheels by default UPS covers everything for 100$. So try that either way the seller has to call up UPS and explain the situation goodluck

this could be from shipping. who knows what they went through and what other larger items could have hit them. Can you see it with the tire on? it may not be very noticeable depending on the size tire you use.

Yea I got pics, but I didn't see any damage to them. There was like no packaging around the wheel, the seller just placed the wheel in a cardboard box and shipped it. It's actually not too bad, I probably should have taken some pics from afar. Those are extreme close ups.

Not sure if it'll be as noticeable with tires on. I'm still saving up $1,000.00+ for tires. Thinking of getting the Michellen Pilot PS2 ones. Since I saw some pretty good reviews about them. I don't think I need the A/S ones since I live in Austin, TX with hardly ever snow or ice.

That little nick isnt even worth the trouble, people on here have gotten worse from getting tire put on custom rims and your complaining about a nick the size of a rice grain.
