Using different tire sizes for FWD car
So, I've got some 19x8.5 wheels with 235/35/19 on them already. Two of the tires are more worn out then the other two, so I'm thinking of replacing two first. But I want to use a slightly different tire size, 235/40/19.
Would it be okay to use that in combination with the 35 profiles also? I'll replacing the 235/35/19 when they run out. If so, then which should go in front? I'd think the 235/40/19 might work better in the rear?

The biggest concerns with tires that much taller on only one axle are: 1) possible false activation of the ABS system 2) possible confusion for the Traction Control system, if one is present.

Yeah, I thought about issues such as those, but wouldn't the problem be more evident with those with staggered wheels? When they have much larger wheels and tires in the rear, and not something as simple as a 35 to 40 profile change in front and the rear.
