What tires should I buy?

in fact, your car should drift slightly left on a perfectly flat road, as the camber / caster and tires are all built to account for a slight crown in the road...
if your car tends to drift right on roads with a crown to them, there is a possibility that the alignment is not completely correct...

Hi Stevie,
This is interesting that the dealer sold you the tires. There are several posters in the past that were told by Lexus that the tire or directional tires were not approved for this car. The dealer here does not have this tire. The only Michelin that they have is the OEM Primacy HP.
I wonder if this is a regional thing with the dealers??

Lexus said the reason they carry that tire is because it offers a softer wall that is meant for the car. The other two they offered me was the Yoko AS430 and Dunlop SP2050. They said the lower the tread the better the ride. Which I find is true.. but also means more tire replacements and more money in their pockets.
The cool thing is that the dealer will price match any one else's price but that means I have to get one of those tires which I did not want. That is why I started this thread to find the best tire and go to a local DT.

dealers buy whatever they want, they just know that they will have to deal with any repercussions that the tires may have on the vehicle... some choose to stay only with the OEM tire, others give other options... some have a narrow offering solely because stocking more than a few sku's is too pricey...
I do agree somewhat that directional tires should be avoided... with a directional tire you cannot cross rotate the tires and therefore have a higher chance of uneven tire wear, though not always...
