Default Safe to run beefier tires?

Its not a lexus, but I have a 2006 civic ex daily driver next to my weekend gs300. I recently got some jdm 18's for my GS and ordered some DWS's for the 18's but I also just bought a set of regular Continental extremes for the oem 16's for the gs3 before I found the great deal on the JDM's. I wanted to use the 215/60-16 continental extremes on my civic since these tires are not even broken in yet, literally less than 800 miles.

my oem civic sizing is 205/55-16, to any 8th gen civic sedan owner the oem tires are very harsh and loud as ever, would the extra beefier tires run safe without issues? I calculated on "tire calculator" that my speedo would read 3 mph off but that is not a notable difference since i use it for city commute only. any help would be appreciated, thanks!
