Well, just cuz thieves could break into your house, doesn't mean you should leave your front door open right? ![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Also, isn't using 20 wheel locks the same as using 1 wheel lock repeatedly? If they have the means to strip your lock, they'll do it the same way regardless of what kind of lock you have.

all a thief needs is a socket and a hammer, or if he's feeling fancy one of these, and he'll be able to crack 90% of the wheel locks on cars today. be them different or not.
I doubt it that they will pound through 20 nuts late at night, especially if you have an alarm

Agreed. At any rate, we used to have a saying in the Army about physical security. "Locks aren't made to stop thieves. They're meant to keep honest people honest."

hahah what's that saying?
security isn't hiding something in an unknown safe in an unknown corner of new york city. Security is putting something in a safe, releasing the specs on the safe, putting the safe in the middle of Times Square, and still knowing the contents of the safe will be untouched. That, is Security.
and FWIW, most alarms will NOT be triggered by a thief hammering off your wheel locks with a big rubber mallet.

just a fyi... the absolute hardest locks to remove are the small diameter tuner style Gorilla Locks when used with a wheel with a deep hole for the socket that is barely bigger than the lock itself... this doesn't allow for enough room for an easy out type device as puredrifter linked to above... they can still be defeated, but when some thieves stole my brothers truck, he didn't even have wheel locks, instead he just had the Gorilla tuner lugs, but with the deep, small holes in the wheels, the thieves couldn't remove a single lug (too dumb to have the correct, readily available socket), and ended up beating up the wheels trying to get their wheel lock removal tools on the lug itself... they ended up leaving the truck on the side of the road with nothing missing but a few cd's, two damaged wheels, and a screwdriver stuck in the ignition (obviously this works with some Dodges pretty easily...
