Well, if you stick with a 245 tire, the wheel/tire will only move 7mm more than mine towards the street. Its hard for me to tell by looking if 7mm would make any difference. I dont think it would......This should also give the front wheel a hair more lip also.....

I had a 18x8.5 with a Kuhmo 245/40 with a +31 offset on the front of the ride. It stuck out well past the outer edge of the fender. I bet some of the other 245's out there are meatier than the Kuhmo also. I would say that it stuck out about 4-5mm. Soooo....youd be REALLY pushing it with +36. I would think that there may be some rub too.

Its the oposite....aggs400

I'd stay above a 38+ unless you get an 8.5 or smaller width

No....I meant that the +31 was completely unacceptable to me and the +36 would sit right underneath the edge of the fender...too close in my book.

Thanx.

Will - no problem!!!! Wheel guys are supposed to help each other out.

Yes, i think it will be fine. +36 is as low as I would run on that car.

I went with the 9.5" I really didn't want to mod the fender with the car being pretty new. I could have done the 10" with a 275 but I like the square look. I think the 9.5 will still look pretty aggressive and have hella lip. Went with the +43 in front. I hope that is going to fill the wheel well enough. It looks good enough in your pics. Do you wish you had done the +36?

I'll let you know how I like them, but they look SWWWWEEEEETTTT in your pics so I can only imagine.

Take it easy.

IMHO, you chose the correct front offset. I previously had an 8"+35 SSR Integral w/245mm tire. It stuck out a bit too much to the street side for my taste. An 8.5" would be another 5mm toward the street. I REALLY think +43 is better in front...
On the rear, 9.5" or 10" is fine...Its just the tire cant exceed a 275 using the +41 offset. Is the 9.5" a +41 also???

Whew.

Thanks for putting me at ease. I like an aggressive fit but I do not care for the Japanese "let's put a huge wheel and a skinny tire to roll up under the fender so it fits sorta look".

I also heard the Potenzas are on the wide side as well.

For rear, the 9.5" is also a +41. If I used the 285 tire, in theory, it would still rub. The 275 is only going to come in 5 mm from what you have leaving about 3 mm of clearance without mod. I think it will look tough...esp compared to the stock sunken in look.

Thanks for all your help Tiny...esp since I am getting the same wheel.

Hopefully it won't turn into another Dronell!

FYI...I heard U.S. retail on these is $3600!!!! Grey-market rules!

Take it easy.

Ryan
