A lot of speculation about nothing. Let the supposed tire expert that works for some tire company post on CL some real facts, if any exist on the matter, otherwise it's meaningless hearsay.

Great, looking forward to your feedback after a few hundred miles or so.

I agree with SCRUFFDOG about T1-R's. Awesome dry but terrible in the rain. I will try these Hankooks next since I've heard many great reviews, also a great price.

Hankook V12 WARNING! you might want to size down if you want to go low. I had 2353020 Falken FK 452 before (no rubbing slammed) and went to the same size V12's and they are a lot bigger and have really squared sidewalls. Needless to say, I had to go pick up some 2253020 Falkens because I did put in a camber kit and it made my front wheels hella flush. I am kinda sad I had to get rid of the v12's for the front.

As for the rear 2553020 on a 9.5, its a bigger tire (v12) so I am going to have to grind out the lip on the quarters. I never even heard anything rub with the falkens in the same size.

So guys, you might want to size down 2 sizes (20mm) if you go with these (ie:going from a Falken FK452 2353020 to a 2153020 Hankook v12) and be slammed without rubbing

V12s are incredible all around tires, but....off the line they do not hook like T1-Rs. I easily shredded my V12s all day long where as my current T1-Rs hook up noticeably harder albeit with some spinning. Cornering also goes to the T1-Rs in my experience-just needs a little more air.
V12s for the price cannot be beat.

My personal impressions.
Rain V12>T1R
Dry T1R>V12
Cornering T1R>V12
Price V12>T1R
Ride T1R>V12
Noise T1R>V12

Tread life-cannot comment.
