Thank you Andy and the whole crew at MC3, my wheels came out sick as *** and couldn't be any happier with finished product.
Alright. So I decided to give my 4 year old HREs 540R a facelift after 4 years of driving, the clear coat on the polished faces was peeling and the lips were a little scuffed. Called up Andy from MC3 wheels in Miami and he hooked it all up.
Since the lip width and offsets made by HRE are pretty weak to begin with I decided to go bigger. I replaced the 2 front lips (which were 1.5") with 1" wider chrome lips (new lips 2.5") and the rear were 3" now sit at 3.5". The Wheels were 20x8.5" Front and 20x10" Rear with 43 offset all around.
Now they're 20x9.5" F and 20x10.5" R. Finally got that nice big lip look with stretched tire all around. Removed all the polished look and went with brushed faces with black windows. Tires are 245/30/20 F and 285/25/20 R. No rubbing anywhere. If any of you guys have been thinking of replacing those ugly, weak, scuffed lips or maybbe wanna change look, give them a call. My car looks soooo much better after and I am really pleased with the results.
