mike D,
most of the dronnels were made in parts of asia other than japan. that is why you can get forged rims at good prices..not that they were poor quality.....but as i said, 90% are not available anymore...

okay, okay futuregs!!
futuregs - never fails, any place there is a Dronell ca-05 link there's futuregs saying no, no, no. Put some wheels on your car and THEN you can say something!!!!! lol just kidding
No hard feelings, just a good natured ribbing!!!
You really do have to see these wheels in person, maybe you'd change your mind??!!??
Okay, I'll give up now.....he he he he he

lol u wanna see wheels!?!?!? You wait till you see my Work Euroline LS. Just gimme 2 months. I like dronell's just not the CA-05 design. I think it's just an ugly wheel. Nothin personal jsut not my thing. PLUS I like the idea of being idfferent. When CamRen put his Dronells on i said "ok not my style but doesn't look bad" But now they are all over the forum. It is disgusting. Lexus should just put them on their cars stock for christ sake. Cmon people lets be individuals instead of followers.

I totally agree with you on the originality thing, but what I think you might be overlooking is that you're seeing these wheels ON CL frequently...what about on the street?? I'm in PA and I haven't seen a set yet....any Dronells for that matter.
Think about it, I can appreciate quality wheels no matter the brand...(HRE's are my favorite by far...just don't want to drop $4,000.00 for wheels alone and no rubber) but I do see Works around CL quite a bit. Excellent wheel choice , BTW. When I see a few other GS's on the road in my area with CA-05's THEN I might get concerned. Until then, it's all good
Good luck on the Works!!
