link- your ride looks much better! It looked great with the HRE's, but now it sits just right. What springs did you end up using and how much of a drop did it give you?

Default thanks daygo

Ended up with the Intrax for the time being. The drop is 1.7" in front and 1.6" in the rear. It tends to look a bit high in the rear if I have 1/4 tank of gas or less, but with a full tank, I'm pretty happy with it. Ride is good too.

Looks better but I think it needs to be about 0.5" lower...maybe a little more...InTrash? Uh, get ready to replace them in about 6 months...the last set of InTrash I had lasted 6 months before they were completely sacked out and my ride quality suffered bigtime...

Rico's setup looks lower (in the rear)...maybe due to the stereo equipment?

It must be the stereo system, I only have the Eibachs (1.2"). Maybe the body kit creates an illusion?

What size tires did you go with again? Maybe the rubber diameter is smaller?

i think its needs to be lowered in the rear... it looks like its poking up too much, but it looks sweet.

Default HKS Time

Time to call HKS. It's still to high for me. I think I may take manaray's suggestion and get the HKS LS coilovers. Might as well do it right the third time.

HKS doesn't carry the LS's for the JZS-147's in the USA...also, I couldn't find them on the Japanese site anymore...they might not make 'em anymore...

Tein has the HA's for the JZS-147...but again, I dunno if they import them...you MIGHT have to find an importer (I can help you on this one)...

Manaray, see if you can get pricing on the Tein HA's. I may be interested.

Default thanks for the info

Manaray-

Thanks for the info. If Rico's Revenge is going to buy the TIENs (maybe), perhaps we can get some type of deal if we order them together. I really wanted the HKS coilovers as a friend of mine has made some not too complimentary comments about the reputation of the TIENs in Japan. Are the HAs very stiff or can you set them a bit softer? I don't want the car to ride too hard.

link- Go with the Tein Flex or CS. You can set these to be soft as stock or much stiffer if you like. Tein's are very high quality from what I hear.
