fgs,

I think they are too small for the GS (Only 7.5" wide I think).. Bolt pattern is fine but not sure about caliper clearance.. Hope that helps!

IS300 rims are actually 17 x 7.0-in with 215/45ZR17 tires(very narrow). You need at least 17 x 8.0-in wheels with 235/45R17 Z-rated tires(to go with the 17" rims).

damn that really sucks. Reason was I could get 17" IS 300 rims alot cheaper than the stock GS ones.

m, that's really old school there. I haven't seen / heard that since late 80s by Big Daddy Kane.

Yeah, definitely wait bro! The ONLY reason why I would do something like that is if the tires on the 16" wheel are shot and getting the 17's with tires is just a LITTLE BIT more than getting new 16" tires put on...otherwise, why waste the money? I hate my 16's on my SC too but you know what, I'd rather wait...

I even have a set of 18" wheels that I could put on my SC but I don't have the correct nuts for it...have I bothered going out to get the nuts? Hell no....the car isn't even lowered yet...why bother? I'd just rather do it right the first time around.
