Is that safe to use SUV touring tires on dirt road
Hi,
I have new GX 460 which has Michelin Latitude Tour HP tires on it. 99.9% of time I drive on Los Angeles streets and freeways. But sometimes we find time to drive to see something. Will it be safe to drive on maintaned dirt road with tires my SUV has on?
The example of the road in on the picture below.
Thanks

On dry dirt roads like pictured you'll be fine just don't drive the trail if it's wet/muddy out because you will not have any traction. Also Keep in mind that touring tires are obviously designed for the street so you'll most likely chunk the tires up while off-road. In-light of the recent recall on the GX460, I suggest driving the trail at a nice controlled speed
