The SupraTT wheels and spare mentioned by RMMGS4 don't fit over the APs.
The cheapest route I found was to order a close-out wheel directly from OZ. I bought a Sinfonia, 18x8 w/35mm offset, part number SF880BFX, for $159. OZ phone ordering is 305.471.0042. Then I ordered a Kuhmo tire from Tire Rack. The grand total will set you back around $300. This all fits in the trunk spare location nicely; any wider wheel and the trunk mat/cover would not sit flat.

I was shocked at how minimal the SupraTT stock wheel clearance was over my SupaTT calipers..(maybe 2 mm's)
My SSR Integrals(18x8"+35 standard disc) had about 5mm clearance and my Zaubers(19x8.5"+43 high disc) have about the same........ Guess thats why theyre the engineers...........

Al,
The issue with the Supra spares being discussed here is to make sure there is adequate clearance to fit over upgraded front brakes which are much bigger than stock brakes.
I'lll let some of the experts reply, but I think you'll be fine with the stock wheel for a short period of time. Your list of mods doesn't include upgraded brakes that would require high disk fittment, so you should be ok.

umm..... tell me, why your stock 16 won't fit? you don't have brakes upgrade, and i don't see any other reason why the 16 won't fit? if you have brakes upgrade, the stock 17" are garbage. i have ap racing, and the supra tt spare. it will fit, as well as supra tt brakes. not sure about brembo and endless though

Hey guys I guess I didnt explain it well. I am having the RMM big brakes installed this weekend and wondering if my stock 17" spare will fit in the front. I currently have the 20x8.5 w/+36offset in the front so I know I am good, but I am concerned about my spare. Should I go out and buy a supra TT spare? Or perhaps an aftermarket wheel with a +36 offset? I tell you it never ends with spending money to get our cars just right!!

Yes Al you should
Yes Al you should. The least expensive solution to this problem is to find the least expensive wheel that will clear the caliper and put the cheapest tire on it. The best solution will be to buy 5 instead of 4 wheels and tires and use a full size spare, working it into the rotation. If the OD is the same (and it should be) and the well is deep enough there will be no problem with fitting it in the trunk. Even if it pushes the carpet up a bit I still think its the best solution. Weight some of you ask? Pfft, this is SPRUNG weight the effect on handling will be unnoticeable, for a second I thought I hit the wrong button and was in the Miata forum. Real good topic though, it doesn't come up as much as it should.
