Question Normal for PSI to heat up in 1 mile?

So I've been always trying to figure out the correct PSI for my work wheels. I've been told anywhere from 35-40 psi is acceptable. Now the closest gas station is about 1.0 mile from my house. So lets say my psi is at 33 psi COLD i'll drive out to the gas station and it'll read to me 35 or at least higher.

My question is it normal for the PSI to heat up and change that much in only 1 mile of slow driving? And what's good PSI to keep my 20" wheels at? Thanks alot guy's!

It depends on the tire. I have Yokohama S.drives and I like 45 psi in them. I have had them at 35 and feel it's too soft. Go with what feels good to you based on the tire rating.

I have 38 in my tires cold. I've seen them read high 40's after an hour of driving.
