So, my stock size is 205/55/16 and i need rubber for some used wheels i bought. Getting a lot of diff opinions on this.. I found this good website for tire size calculating http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCal...?action=submit (mods i have no affiliation w site) im just looking for some help.. Its a big car and my DD on these NYC streets so the 215/40 (which is on the wheels now are way too thin) im thinking 215/45 may be best. A Tire guy i know said that if the tire is too wide for wheel it will make tire taller which will then affect the way it rides/wears/etc bc not all the tread will be on the pavement(not good) thats what he said would happen with 224/45. Anyone who knows these cars:Acura Legend/RL knows they are a b*tch to rim up. They need very high offsets (45+ on a 7" wheel and up to +55 for wider wheels) and thin widths of wheels Thanks in advance all wheel gurus..
