Default Noob IS wheel question...

Ok guys really noob question but I cant find them anywhere! I know the first and second generation IS had 17" OEM wheels in a couple different styles BUT apparently there's an 18" OEM IS wheel? Not sure from what years or anything but what the heck does it look like? Pics would be awesome!

1is only had one 17s, i didn't know they had different styles

2is, 17s are standard, and 18s are options. most of the 2is out there i believe have 18s now. 2is are from 06+. just look at most of the factory 2is pics and they have 18s

Well mind as well ask this in the same post. Whats the best tire size to put on these wheels. 18 X 8 and stock ride height? I was thinking 225/45?

1IS had 2 17 inch wheels, the 5-spoke (most common) and the 11-spoke Sport Design rim.

the stock sc400 is 225/50/16. so in order to get the overall diameter close as possible. you can run 225/45/18, 245/40/18, etc

just plug in your stock size. then compare the new wheel size. as long as it's within 3% diameter you'll be fine.

do you want a higher sidewall with skinnier tire or beefy tires and low profile? any plans to lower?
