yea that sucks! i have a friend who bent his 19" racing hart C5 - not too bad, but still
anyone know the cost to fix this type of thing?
its bent in one spot, about a half an inch or less @ the lip, inwards toward the middle of the wheel. a basic pothole bend ( i guess )

I have the same situation with one of my 19's. The slightly bent rim was sent out for repair at a local rim repair establishment in Maryland. If memory serves me correct, the damage came to $125 and 1.5 weeks time to fix. I'll be happy to post the result of the repair once I received the rim.
You can find a couple of places that fix this sort of situation in the back of common automotive publications. I see them all the time in the rear of the Autoweek mag.
Good luck.

Bent Rim Repair
Try www.fixrim.com (Wheels America). They fixed curb rash on a wheel I had on one of my cars. Came out very clean - done in two days. Plus they have lifetime gaurantee on workmanship. Cost was $125 for repair (plus shipping if needed). They have a shop in Dallas too.

How bad is the damage?
If its just the lip and not bent too bad...do it yourself.....I used to do it myself with my previous MAHDI wheels which used to bend all the time.....my HRE's can take a beating without bending...that's quality.
I used to take a rag...put over the damaged lip area....and bang with a hammer...worked every time....dont get scared...hit the BIATCH!!!
Cost was free!

Reasons for bending was also due to my inexperience with BIG wheels....there are quite a bit of potholes around and I managed to hit every single one of them whenever I drove around. I still do hit a pothole every now and then, but I'm much more careful. Hands down, HRE's can take a beating!
