rims setup
Wassup..
I have a 01 GS300 and I'm going to get rims soon. I'm thinking about getting the lowenhart ld1s. My question is I want to get 20"x9" in the front and 20"x10" in the rear. Is there genna be a problem? Do I have to do any modifications to my car? Will the rims fit just as it is? I don't really know a lot about rims but i was asked if i wanted it "staggared or 3-piece." What does he mean by that? And also I would really appreciate any input on getting rims this being my first time I've ever got rims. As far as tires go, which tires should I buy? Any help would be grateful. Thanks in advance.

Staggered means the widths of the wheels
20x8.5 front and rear= not staggered
20x8.5 front 20x10 rear= staggered
3 Piece wheels are usually high quality, high dollar wheels. Usually the wheels with a polished lip with bolts around it are 3 piece, however there are some knock offs that front a 3 piece look while actually being a one piece wheel.
You might also want to consider wether the wheel is forged or cast. Forged wheels are usually lighter and stronger than a cast wheel.
Do a search, or look through the gallery to help find different looks and opinions.
These are some real basic answers to get you going, but read and educate yourself before spending 5 or 6G's blindly. Hope this helps, good luck!!
