Default AT Italia?

A friend of mine has an Audi A4 and is interested in aftermarket wheels. He's not willing to spend HRE/Lowenhart/Fikse type cash, so I was showing him options on Tire Rack. We came across the AT Italia Flash Sport with bright satin silver finish, and both thought it looked really good. They had a pic of it on a Passat which is a pretty good representation of what it would look like on an A4. I haven't really heard much about AT Italia, but the price made me wonder if they're knockoffs or subpar quality. Anybody have any experience/opinions on AT Italia? What other wheels would give a similar look in the $300 - 500 price range for 18s?

I was looking at that brand a while back for my daily driver, something I could crush on a 3ft Michigan pot hole and not worry about it. I did a search on here and I believe the consensus was it is a decent wheel, but you may get more for your money on some other brands.

I've got a set of 19" AT Italia Rivas. I've put them on the GS and the SC (currently). IMO, they are a good deal for the $. I have not had any problems with them (knock knock). Read up on the brand @ the Tire Rack. Here's a link to the writeup.

I love the design of the flash sport. I also have 19" SSR Agle Strusse which are a very similar design to the flash sports. There are also the Altstadts or the Zenettis that have similar designs. Don't know prices or quality on either of those. I've hread that the Altstadts are of good quality. Don't know much about the quality of the Zenettis. Try a search on either of the wheels mentioned.

Here is a pic of ATs (top) and the SSRs (bottom):

And finally 1 of the Zenetti. Also taken from CL. I hope this helps.

Thanks. I was kind of wondering if the AT Italia's were a fake two-piece wheel because of the low price. Based on the articles and pics on Tire Rack it appears they are two-piece (both pieces cast I assume).

The Zenettis would look all right without the gold bolts. Although I think I've heard a lot of negative comments about Zenettis.

So no probs with mounting and balancing your Rivas?

Default Got Rubber??

What size rubber do you have on those 19" Rivas??? I was thinking about the same rim, but was wondering how they'd look on the car. I'm just concerned about side wall height(pot holes).

Car looks sharp!!

yeah don't do the Zenetti's. AT's may be a decent wheel to go with if your on a mad budget.

dt, the Tire Rack did it all. They shipped them to me all the way to Guam, mounted, balanced, lugs & locks, ready to install (after a good waxing of course).

Blanco, the Rivas are 19x8 and 19x10 with SO3s in 245/35 and 275/30. No problems rubbing. The car is also lowered with H&R coils. Thanks!
