can I run 275 tires on 18x8 rims?

Default can I run 275 tires on 18x8 rims?
I am already running 255/35/18 in the front and I want to run 275/35/18 in the back.Will the tries fit on the rim?I already know the tires will fit the car.The rims are 18x8

I think they are a tad too wide for 18x8 it might look like an SUV tire if you have them on.

I will copy this thread onto the wheels thread, it might get more responses there.

the widest limit on 18/8 would be 255 (it's already pushing it)

i had 18x8.5 with 265/35 in the rear... IMO It was pushing it... So Im not sure you would want to go 275 with 18x8

The minimum acceptable rim width for most 275s is 9.0".

You gotta be dreaming (or crazy). I have 275's on 9.5" wide rear rims and they fit just right.
