Default Newbie question

I'm sure this has been addressed before but what is the best offset to use for a 8 or 8.5 inch wheel on a 92 sc400. Thanks for the help. If anyone has some pictures of wheels on a pearl white car they would be helpful too.

the oem offset is 50mm, it's good to stay close to that especially in front, if you deviate too far from 50mm you may get weird handling that the Brits call "tramlining" - and aligning the frontend is tougher with less offset I'm told as well -
