Yes my friend got a 19x8 wheel with a +50 offset for his TL, it took about 5 months before he even got the wheels.

AGS400 what tire size are you running? Im from Houston as well with a 35 series on the front and a 30 and the rear and the ride isnt that bad.

din...

i guess ride quality can be quite personal and subjective...i do expect rougher ride on 19s/20s...BUT when i first switched from 17s/45 to 45/30/18s, it was still quite comfy..no complain from passengers either...

FIVE months...now that explain the sloooow boat delivery...and few hundred $$$ cheaper....man i feel bad whenever guys had to wait for more than 5 weeks  ..actually even using ocean freight should not be longer than 3-4 months...

Yeah I guess the ride quality is personal pref. On all the cars I have owned I always had rims with low pro tires I never had a prob with it.

About the 5 months maybe it was less I forgot but he really wasnt in a hurry to get the wheels, but me I would like to get things asap.

you are quite correct..i heard from few guys that they had to wait 5-6 months too..the sad thing is that there are shops that tell you 6-8 weeks, get the $$ from you and then keep on telling you another 2-3 weeks another 2-3 weeks...

like you said, when you spend few $Gs, you want them asap...the worst part is over promise and under deliver

Thats what I was thinking.... Im running 245/35/19F, 285/30/19R and I like the ride just fine....
IMHO, it is almost identical to my previous 245/40/18F, 265/35/18R set-up. Austin roads are really nice compared to LARGER cities though... DALLAS roads SUCK!!!! Houston are a little better IMO....

Hey Ryan, I went ahead and ordered two sets of four valve stems/caps from Zauber when I ordered the wheels.... You should consider letting Will get you an additional set of four since your already ordering one wheel and one stem.... Its a nice piece of mind considering the possibility of a leaky stem down the road.... You may never use them but at least you know they are there.....
Oh, and I didnt forget about your WOOFER, Ive just been REALLY busy trying to start a "real" career....I WILL pick you up one if there are two available....Check your pm...

wow, tiny..you and i have the same idea... ..when i ordered my own wheels, i thought of ordering extra ctr caps and stems too.....esp on some work and rays wheels, i am afraid of getting scratched sometime down the road..or needing new stems when i get new tyres...always good to have spares..hmm, this is solid thinking behind the mind of car guys..

the only thing about rays and work wheel ctr caps is that they are large, well made, so not cheap at $50/each.....zauber gettins have smaller caps, so should not be too much

i think i am going to get few zauber caps as spare for the future in case guys need them

do-luck,

yes, that is what we are referring to..

no, they do not need to be replaced..just that people sometimes like to keep spares..hey you never know if they would get scratched or some mishap...we are just "picky or being a car dude..hehehe"

well, we don't don't do that, so I hope people haven't stereotyped us as a "shop".
