Man, that car does need 22" to make it look right/tight.

That looks tight, I guess the right wheel/tire combo and suspension upgrade can make the new 7 look pretty good! Hmmm...if only they can get all their reliability problems in check.

Socal- so the 640R's can be made to fit a car? I thought they were strictly for trucks.

yes, they sure can, but because of the higher load rating, they will be heavier than the 540R or 440R wheels.

GSTRANCE: The 22" stuff in the painted finish (like those above) starts at about $1700 per corner... then, add rubber at about $400 each, you're talking $8500 at full list for the full set-up.

daygo718: yep, we've used the 640R series on the 7-series applications, but other cars would be difficult- we make only 3.5" and 4.0" outer rims in 22". The BMW lends itself well to this set-up.

Richie & Peter: Thanks for the kind words, as always. That set-up is known within HRE as "another Bob Hale patented fitment."
No mods are required, BTW.

The Hartges are okay... where's the lip? The HRE offsets are more aggressive, too: I'll bet the 22x9.5 +35 has BIG spacers in the front!

I love lips, but some cars in my mind don't look that good with them. As for looks I will take the Classics over those HRE's anyday, as for quality I am sure the HRE's will come out on top.
