Can I use run-flats on IS350?
I need a set of winter tires for my rears since they are pretty worn out. Can't afford to spend $500 on a good set of tires. Looked on Craigslist and found a good set of Blizzak MZ-03's that are used and at a good price. I'm trying to get narrower tires and 245/40/18 seems to be good to me. However, my understanding is that the MZ-03 is a run-flat tire. Is there any negative to using run-flat tires on car that does not come with them?

No problem with running runflats at all, so long as you have tire pressure monitoring.... without TPMS, you would probably not know that your tire was low on air and the tire would definitely leave you stranded as it would be too late to know that the tire needed air added to it....
The size might be a little worrying, as those will be shorter than factory - VSC, traction and ABS may not function appropriately... It would be pretty close to OE size, though, so you should be alright...
