Best Tire Selection
Hi Everyone !
Question: I have a 06 Is 350 I'm running 255/35/20 on the rear ! I have 10.5 inch rim and I want the sidewall of the tire to fit flush straight up not curve inward. Will a 285/30 work? will it rub ? I know the 30 is shorter ! I'm getting mixed feedback. I'm wanting that wide nice stance.
Thanks
John

255/35-20 = 27" diameter
285/30-20 = 26.7" diameter
Probably won't be able to tell the difference... 285 is a pretty wide tire... take a tape measure and measure how much space you have from the sidewall of the tire to the fender, while the tire is tucked under the fender (add weight, a couple people in the back seat, some weight or someone sitting in the trunk as well...)

26.7 there is not that much difference. Probably the best thing to do would lower the rear leave the size tires that are there now then it would have that aggressive stance I'm looking for.
Thanks
Thanks
