L-Tuned + 9.5 Wheels
Does anyone out there have an L-Tuned suspension setup with 9.5 with +38 offset? If so, just wondering if anyone has any rubbing issues. The rear of my car is constantly rubbing whenever I hit a dip in the road. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue. Thanks

I had some inner lip fender rolling done to solve the problem. Note I did not say cutting. By cutting away the inner lip you actually weaken the fender. I had my bodyshot roll the inner edges all the way in. I lost the plastic trim in the front and rear of car as well. Since rolling does affect the paint, i had the rear quarter panels totally repainted as well. It wasn't cheap ($500) but it was done correctly.
Hope that helps.

Manny...
Thanks... But when I bought / did this suspension and wheel setup, it was my intention not to do any rolling of the fenders, plus they are only 18" rims. I'm just wondering if I got bad shocks or springs, because I don't think it is the setup. I'm wondering if I should get some replacement shocks for the rear to check first.
Thanks...

Setup
My setup is 18 x 8.5" wheels up front with +45 offset, and 18 x 9.5" +38 in the rear.
Tires are Yoko AVS ES100 with 245 / 40 up front ( no issues ) and 275 / 35 in the rear ( rubbing )
Thanks....

Yeah, from what I've heard when hitting dips, it seems to come from the right side only. I will wait and see if Steve can send me a replacement shock or if I have to purchase one. I'm not really sure if it is the shock or spring. I'm guessing the shock, which should handle the amount of travel the car makes, where as the spring just lowers it down. I could be wrong in my thinking.. I'll let you know what happens...
