Talking Help Me Decide On My Next Wheel Project!

Well guys, some of you may know, that I recently purchased a Carbon Metallic 2003 Yukon SLT for my Wife. By the way, it is truly a very nice vehicle! Surprisingly quiet and extremely comfortable. This one is loaded: Heated seats, XM Radio, On-Star, etc. Here's few pics of the Yukon!

And here's a pic of a Tahoe (same color) I test drove for a weekend prior to deciding on the Yukon (give you an idea of the overall look!)

Being the Wheel & Tire Guru that I am, I also like to hear others opinions as well. Here are just a few of my potential choices:

Kaotik Z-6

Niche-Britaine

Foose-Spank

Maido-MS5

I think out of all of them, the Maido is the best in quality. I see all those other wheels around here, all those guys who want cheap big chrome wheels.

how big of a rim are you looking for 20,21,22,24,26,36:eek: I mean it all depends on how big you want to go, if that was my tahoe (hoe ) I would probably go with the Giovanna casino's, I know giovanna is a knockoff brand and blah blah bla, but its better than some off the other wheels up there and at least some of them do look decent, and there not as expensive as 22" HRE's for instance.

well here is a pic of a tahoe with 24" giovanna casino's

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Giovanna's to me. That particular wheel however isn't doin it for me though...

Whats up Marcus?????!!!!! Did you read my post on your original Tahoe thread. I had been looking for one for a while to use as a daily driver.
I found what I had been looking for last Monday and went ahead and bought it. Its a White 2000 Tahoe w/32k miles. I am lovin it!
I am torn between an offroad or street set-up though. It came with nerf bars on the sides, which is what I prefer over the "step". If I go off-road, I will leave the stock 16's (same as in your Tahoe pic) and get a 285/75/16 BFG all-terain T/A and call it a day. If I go "street look" it wont be nearly as easy a decision. About the only thing I have decided is that "lesser" brands WILL be ok for the Tahoe.

but it doesn't look like you go cheapo when you buy a car.....
You have a garage with over $100,000 worth of cars in there.

And Maido would be the best, would look awesome.

Thanks guys for the great feedback! And congrats Chris on your Tahoe. Man, I got to tell you guys, my wife has 1 month left on her current lease vehicle so guess who's been driving around in the Yukon? This thing is GREAT! People don't cut you off, you're riding up high, and it is AMAZINGLY quiet. Oh yeah, I am totally loving the Factory XM Radio! 80's and BPM get much airtime. Man there are so many 22's to choose from, and that will be the MAX I go with after speaking with the owner of JR's Customs here in Dallas (does all the Cowboys and Mavericks cars as well several dealership conversions) he says the ride is much too harsh and he has changed out many customers from 24's down to 22's! Just got a Billet and Bug Shield Installed today! What do you think?
