Hey,
New to the forums, found some used LS wheels on craigslist, wondering if a wider tire will fit on the back set. Seller states size is 235/50/18 on the wheels now, which I would run on the front, would 265/40/18 tires fit on the rear? Not sure what the wheels are off of.

Well, you said you're buying used LS wheels and don't know what the wheels are off of in the same breath? To make it simpler the 265/40R18 tire you want to run needs a 9" wide wheel. If these are in fact used LS wheels they will not be 9" wide. Whatever the wheel is from the size will be stamped on the back, 18X?. Once you know this you can determine the tires you can run.

Correct, I am unsure what model and year they are off of, seller just listed them as LS wheels, and that they would fit on any LS model. From past experiences, I figured there could be a difference between what fits on a 2000 LS400 and say a 2008 LS430.

Update** They are off a 2008 LS460 and will not fit from info I found.
