Flow forming vs rotary forged?

Flow forming vs rotary forged?
I keep reading so much about these methods of making wheels, and how one is better than the other. Can someone chime in to tell me what the difference is between rotary forging and flow forming?
The processes are identical: take a cast wheel, and run the barrel down a mold against some rollers to make the barrel the right size? In doing so, the grain of the aluminum gets a stronger grain structure.
I'm just not sure why everyone calls it something different?

Nice info, thanks for posting. I am assuming the stock f-sport rims are cast, right?
