Default es350 wheels

Hi all i need some rim advice quickly. I just bought a beautiful 2007 es350 ultra luxury. Car is great but wheels are in bad shape. The current set up is stock 17 inch rims with run flat tires which are 225/50/17. I have a great opportunity to buy some awesome is250 wheels and tires from a 2006 is250. These are 225/45/17 with 17 inch wheels. I am not very technical but will these fit on the es350? Need yes or no answer please. Any other advice welcome. THANKS SO MUCH!

wheels will be ok, but I would change to a taller tire, perhaps even swap your current tires to the new wheels...

Thanks so much if i do go with the lower profile tire, will ride quality get much stiffer / worse besides the height?

yup, and the shorter tire doesn't have as much weight carrying capacity... it shouldn't be a terrible ride, but definitely stiffer than what you have

If you put different tires back on these new wheels you could use 215/55, 225/50 or 225/55R17. You said you currently have 225/50R17 runflats on the ES350, if you ditch the runflats for a good touring tire you will notice a big difference in ride comfort and road noise. Those runflats don't really belong on that car, you have a spare tire and runflats were never offered as an option on an 07' ES. No problem with using them but ride is too stiff and tire prices are higher.

The IS offsets ate different than the ES due to fwd vs RWD. They will sit funny on the ES
