Default Anyone else w/ CA-05's Rubbing in Front?

I really don't want to raise it, but I rub on every little bump in front. The wheels are Dronell CA-05 +38MM offset 20X8.5 w/ 245/35/20 Bridgestone S03's.

The back is fine, no rub with minimal tuck! Anyone else with CA-05's that either rolled the fenders or removed the inside plastic to avoid the rubbing?? Thanks for the help!

Trust me, I am like you and I HATE wheel gap. I had mine that low in the front when I got my HA's. Rubbed everywhere I went. I have absolutely ZERO finger gap in the rear. Mine is slightly tucked in the rear. The MINIMUM space you need to have to be sorta safe is at least 1 finger gap in the front. Unless you wanna screw up your tires? I have 245/35/20 btw.

The 20s are about 1" too tall for the GS- you could modify the fender liners with a heat gun, or remove them entirely.

Thanks guys for the feedback. If I remove the plastic liners, aren't I in for problems with sharp metal underneath? I also hear that rocks can actually dent the metal fender and that would be very bad. Here is a pic of the front tire.

I actually found a set on eBay for $800 brand new - never used. What a deal! They are great looking wheels and light too. The problem is the offset - you can't slam the car anymore! I am really bummed, it looks so good with NO gap!

usually when installing 20s, you may need to remove the liner, but that's it. no big deal, actually.

Nope, didn't by the tires but did get the wheels from Darkside. What was he charging for tires and what kind?

Don't forget - there are no lug nuts in the box! I showed up to the installation place and luckily they had some that worked. $800 is a sweet price for some pretty decent wheels. In fact, I have been looking for a set of these forever now!!

The only problem is the gap issue and rubbing. I also can't stand the road noise and rough ride on 20's. Owell, the price you pay for looks I guess..... enjoy!

They charged me 1680 w/ tires. I called around to some local shops and none could beat the price, so I went for them from Darkside.

If there are no lug nut, where did you get yours from? What kind did you get?

I currently have the stock supspensions. Will I have rubbing?

That is a good price, what kind of tires and what size?

The shop where I had the wheels installed had some decent looking lug nuts so all is good.

You won't rub if you are stock height. I suggest dropping it so your don't look like a four by
