I have '00 GS300 and a '98 LS400. What are the widest tires I can put on these cars that don't whack out my speedometer reading too much?

I'd stay with the OE tire size if you're not going to coin-up for new wheels- Lexus already undersizes their wheels for the OE tires, anything wider looks very "bulged" on the rim.
Also, if you significantly undersize the rim width, a wider tire may actually decrease handling performance, as the tire will tend to 'squirm' on the wheel (particularly while imparting cornering loads) more than the OE tires.

C'mon. I ain't trying to be a freak. I just wanted to know how much wider of tire can i put on my cars with the stock wheels and it still look good and not rub. 20 more mm? 30 more mm?
From what I can tell, it seems I will be better off just staying with stock size tires.
