Damn Bob, I should have spoken to you when I called in. When it came time to get these done, I was actully told b someone at HRE that you do not like to re chrome wheels and more or less said I should go the other route that I was looking at going. I also initially got a price that did indeed include a charge for re polishing the lip. Trust me, I really wanted to go through HRE to get this done for the exact reasons that you stated, but it just wasnt cost effective at the time. The wheels came out great, only time will tell if the chrome stays that way, Im keeping my fingers crossed. If for some reason it doesnt, HRE will have them back for high polishing next time.

I have chromes on my IS 300 and they MAKE the car! I would have preferred chromes on my RX 300 but why pay when my Perf Package comes with Polished Graphite??
