Default Centric Rotors & Akebono ProAct Pads

I wanted to know your opinion on this combination for my 2010 Lexus ES350. I am looking at the Centric rotorshttp://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brake...674x012-brakes and the Akebono ProActhttp://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brake...0&autoModClar= to replace the OEM rotors and brakes. Is this a decent combination or just a waste of money?

looks good to me... I ran a similar setup on my old SC400, was pretty happy with them...

That looks like a good choice. The Centric rotors are made to the exact same specifications as the OEM rotors but have also been powder coated black so they look better. The Akebono pads would be very similar to the Lexus original equipment pads and would feel the same as far as stopping power.
