i have a 02 IS300, and plan on getting 19X8 Moda R6 rims (i think its +45offset). i will also be dropping the car about 1.5~2.0" via coilovers, and i don't want any rubbing (don't wanna roll fenders either). tirerack and discount tires suggested 215/35/19 tires. does anyone kno if i can fit 225/35/19 without rubbing? or even larger sizes? thanx

A 19x8 +45 will definitely rub the inner plastic fender liner turning at full lock with a 225/35-19... but it's not a big deal, well worth it for the extra tire width. You can eliminate this with slight manipulation of the liner with a heat gun.

I built 19x8 +40 for a friends IS- we used 235/35-19 on all four corners, and it only rubbed during full lock. Personally, I think +45 is a bit inboard for my tastes- very 'conservative' looking, but they will fit.
