I read a post in the GS forum about wheel spacers and I was wondering if there is more than one kind of spacer. I only ask this because i have spacers that are just like a plate that slips over the screws and then you put the wheel on top of that. However, I was told that you should not do this especially in the rear. The guy told me that prolonged use can tear up your differential or something like that

Is this true and is there more than one kind of spacer?
