19 - It's only worth doing 19" if you're going to run Manaray's "fat" setup then you gain the advantage of extra sidewall height which gives you more rim protection and a slightly better ride.

Pricing on the 19's is usually less, but the price of tires are about the same (as is the availability) and honestly, there is no reason NOT to get the S-03's considering the price/performance factor on that tire. (and the S-03 has a "standard" 19" setup, a "fat" 19" setup, and a standard 20" setup)

Design wise, there are more "nicer" wheels in 19" because a lot of Japanese manufactures make wheels up to 19".

If you don't mind NOT having lip, then you can run a 19" wheel where the spokes go to the edge of the wheel, like the Advan Model 5 which will make your 19's look like 20's. When you run a wheel with lip, it will always look a little smaller.

20 - For cars like the GS and the LS, 20's fit better visually IMO, but you do run the risk of having less sidewall which COULD lead to a damaged wheel. Of course, 19" wheels, even with the "fat" setup, can get damaged also.

20" wheels tend to cost more and the designs are more limited unless you're into the ugly "bling bling ghetto" style wheels (of which, there seems to be an unlimited supply of horrible looking wheels available from companies like Lexani, Alba, Omega, etc.)

Now that being said, I have 19's right now (with the "fat" setup), however, I'm going to moving up to 20's real soon. My reasoning is that I want larger looking wheel. The ride quality is only marginally worse FOR ME. The streets I drive on a pretty good and I drive carefully anyways. Not only that, the 20's I'm getting come in a design that I want with quality that I want. All at a excellent price point (for what they are), there is no reason for me NOT to go with 20's. They are a 3-piece wheel with a nice fat lip so they won't look "too large" (like what 20" Giovanna Drama's look like) which is just right for me....and they're forged so it's actually lighter than the wheels that I have now.

Default thanks

Points well taken. No worry, even if Manaray or Will are not around I will run my stock wheels instead of a KNOCK-OFF.
