Surprised Discount Tire doesn't carry Michelin Primacy P235/45R18 tires in-stock

Walmart uses torque-limited tools to tighten lug nuts. Try to go over the torque limit and the tool breaks. I think you're casting stones at a lot of good people and decent companies you know little about. "I've heard..." Yeah.

Vehicle List that may use 235/45R18 tires
I do not know if this is an accurate list, but if even 1/4 of the listed vehicles use the tire I would think it should be stocked.

'Heard' as in 'been told first-hand' by friends that experienced problems with various services.

On that basis, you should never buy a Lexus (I've heard some people have had problems with them), have it serviced at a Lexus dealer (I've heard some dealer shops have done poor work), or finance a Lexus through LFS or any other credit union, bank, or loan company (I've heard some people have had problems with all of the above). Get the point now, on "I've heard"?

I've personally always gone with Discount, too. Quick, cheap, but most importantly, reputable.
Considering it's under the "best selling" category on their website, I'm not sure what to believe.

I've never bought tires online and then taken them to a local tire dealer/store to have them mounted and balanced. I can't imagine them appreciating someone doing that. I suspect some might refuse...

In that case, price match Tire Rack (pre-shipping) at Walmart. When they come in (free of any shipping charge) in a day or two, head over to Walmart, toss your new tires in the trunk, then zip on over to Discount for installation. Simple. Thread done.

Regarding the Primacy, it will eventually be replaced by the Michelin Premier. At the current time, the 235/45/18 is still available. It is an OE tire for a 2015 Honda Accord so I anticipate it to be around for several years to come. In most other sizes, the Primacy HX MXM4 has already been replaced by the Premier.

The name DISCOUNT tires says it all. The demographic of people that shop at such place is attracted by the name Discount so they have to carry more tire type best suited for its customers. Discount meaning cheap, inexpensive, value, and afordability. Michelins are much more expensive than say General brand tires or chinese tires.
You do realize Discount Tire is an authorized retailer for Michelin right..?
