Default Lexus OEM 18s on 92 SC400

Hi guys,

A while back, I promised some pics of my buddy's SC400 with those "ebay" OEM Lexus 18s. He finally got them mounted. As a point of reference, his car is completely stock with the exception of these wheels.

Because of the curve of the wheel spokes, there is actually a good amount of clearance for the brake caliper. Not sure if it is enough for a "big brake" upgrade but a double check with the templates may be worth the trouble.

These are supposedly OEM wheels. 'L' center caps and all. There is a guy on ebay selling them for about 1200 (for all 4). I know some GS guys have this wheel. I thought they looked pretty good and suggested them to my bud. He seems to like them. Very light wheels. They are 18 x 9 all around.

Those are Ebay "look-alike" OEM's, not the original Lexus GS OEM's!
I have never seen this type of wheel on a GS Lexus, except
the for ones in the attachment, which are Lexus OEM for the GS.

There was a discussion awhile back about these wheels. I think the end result was that they were an OEM accessory wheel and not OEM factory optional. They are made by Central Wheel Co for Lexus of Japan. This info came from this thread:

Sorry if my title caused any confusion.

Those wheels are wheels from Japan, very light... 18x9. This is what I know about them, they aren't OEM factory wheels from Toyota Japan, they are Dealer option wheels that Toyota dealerships provide if customers want them on their Aristro or maybe offered on other cars as well. I am pretty sure it isn't made by Toyota but certified by them if that makes sense? Looks sharp, those wheels are suppose to be pretty good quality... nice weight too.
