what exactly is reversed lip and what's good about it

Rominl,

Don't you realize your AV3 is reversed lip design? 98% of JDM wheels are reversed lips while HRE is the first US wheel maker that starts making reversed lip 3 piece rims.

haha well since i didn't realise there is stepped lips, i always thought it's just normal

does make you wonder why HRE never offered the R types before. apparently, they did do it only for porsches and ferraris though. so what the hell...

Thanks Wheels Expert and Bravo...

I finally see the difference...Its very subtle and like Rominl I was so use to seeing JDM wheels which are all Reverse lip. I wasnt sure what I was looking for. I think i like the R look since Im use to it now....
