How to remove overspray from chrome wheels?
When my bumper was repainted, there were some overspray that got cought onto my chrome wheels. What product should I use to remove the paint without harming the chrome? Will paint thinner work? (Just a thought).....thanks

As stated above, Laquer thinner, and then follow up with a chrome/metal polish ( I use mothers aluminum and mag wheel polish ) to get the Laq. thinner residue off. Just did the same thing to a set of air horns that I had sent off to get re-chromed for a customer, had to clean them up before re-installing them.
I use Laquer thinner for almost every cleaning job - tough carpet stains, scuff marks on plastic, pine tree sap off paint/glass, you name it I've cleaned it with Laq. thinner. You just have to get used to how much to put on a rag for each different kind of surface. Wear gloves though or you'll end up with hands like mine, that don't have much lubrication left in the joints from the thinner drying them out.
