Default wheel weight balance

How come you only see the little weight balance thing on Lexus alloy wheel and not on the Lexus chrome?

the clip on weights may scratch the chrome if they have to be removed or repositioned with each balance and they don't come in chrome so they take away from the appearence. Look inside the wheel, there is another wheel weight often used with alloy wheels and definately chrome wheels. It is glued to the inside of the wheel out of site but fully functional.

Nothing in this world is perfect, especially tires! You can read this to explain why:

Default 2 Kinds of wheel weights in this world...

The kind you want is the adhesive weight which will adhere to the back side of the wheel and not be visible. The kind you don't want clips on the the front of the wheel, looks terrible and can actually cause damage to the wheel finish over time. It's important to remember that no tire is perfect and even a brick can be balanced. Here is a good link...

Tell them to place the weights as far away from the brake rotors as they can. They are held in place by adhesive and it will melt it heated enough.
