Default Wheel Spacers Good or Bad?

I was wondering if there were any negative effects when using wheel spacers. I recently purchased a set of rims that will require me to use 3mm wheel spacers on the rear only. I know that 3mm is almost nothing, but I am concered on performace issues. Anyone have any advice or facts on using wheel spacers?

Thanks

Why bother with 3mm? Unless you need em to clear the brakes. Visually, I don't think you'll be able to tell the difference. If you do get spacers, get H&R spacers (I think the smallest they have is 5mm). I use 5mm up front and 15mm in back. No problems at all.

Default Spacers

Not using them is better then using them. An additional part between the mounting flange and the hub is just not as mechanically sound as having a flush mount. If you use them I agree H&R is the best and where possible always try to make sure the spacer is made for your bolt pattern and is hub centric.
