Default GS400 Tire Replacement

I know that this has been discussed a million times, I did a search on this and I am looking for the best replacement tire that will not strip out my wallet. I'm thinking the Yokohama AVS ES100 or the Sumitomo HTR.... I go through tires pretty fast and with this weather around the DC area, I am inclined to go with an all season....has anyone ran these HTR on the big body GS??

yeah, I saw this earlier, but you were running these tests on a smaller car... curious as to what GS owners think of the HTR

Default I've got'em

I'm running HTR+s on 17" BBSs size 245/45/17 and absolutely love them. I read the review on Tire Rack and agree 100% with their observations. Based on what I've found, there is not a greater "bang for the buck" tire out there for an A/S application.

Wet performance seems super and the tire has realatively low road noise. Dry handling has not really been tested as I'm not driving super aggressively these days. I like the look of the tire, the wide shoulders of the tread and the fact that it is NOT directional. Compared to the Michelins, this is a tought tire to beat for the price.

I have the Sumitomo HTR+ in 245/40/18 on my GS. So far i have no problems with them and they seem to be great All Season performance tires especially for the price.
