Rims and Tires(Brands, sizes, offsets)
I would like to open a discussion on rims and tires. Opinions are open to everyone and everyone has their own. SC400's are unique and innovative, you don't see too many on the streets and it's a sleeper car( not many people know the power it pumping). To keep with the unique and innovative look of a SC and not tarnish it's image you have to make good decisions on any upgrade from stock. On that note I have a 1997 Pearl white SC400 stock Project one: Rims have in mind iFORGED 3-piece Evolution high polish finish from www.iforged.com. 19's front(19*8.5), back(19*9.5) or front(20*8.5), back(20*9.0). Input please! Tires-Pirelli Pzero 35 or 40 series. I need good feed back on my choices I am making with my car. I got a good hook up with iForged rims and I know a corporate manager @ discount tires for my tires. My brakes are already upgraded.
My SC400 wants new shoes.
Rims is a good first step for a SC400 will set the tone for later upgades...Project two: Wade bodykit [url]www.waldusa.com

I love the i-forged rims. I'm planning on a set for my SC next year. 19's or 20's is your choice. 20's are a little big IMO but Manaray put some 20inch i-forged on his SC and took a pic. WOW.
Not a huge fan of Pirelli's. Tread wear on them is a joke. Try some S03's or Pilot Sports.

I had the Pirelli PZero's on my Racing Harts, and they SUCK. The tread wear was horrible and one of them blew out with under 10k miles on them. Like said above go with the SO-3 if you want a high performance tire.

Yep, S03 will provide the best performance. Check out my above sticky on the best Max Performance tires.

Thanks for the Input on tires from Bridgestones SO3. I will go with those with my iForged rims. Tirerack .com is a good website. I order some EBC greenstuff front pads and Satisfied rear pads from that site, to go with my drill/slotted rotors. Spending money on maintenance for the SC's is important. Then blowing it on a horse power or looks upgrade. I notice some people blowing their money on a expensive upgrade for thier car, but hold off or can't afford a 90k tune up.
Well anyways... Opinions! 1.Does anybody think getting the two piece iForged evolution rim look similiar
to the three piece iForged rim. If u are trying to save money, but I will dish
the cash for the 3-piece.
2. What are good offsets and tire sizes to go on 19's.
(off subject) 3. As anybody seen Christina Aguilera on T.V. , she is looking fat. She ain't no Genie in the bottle.
