Default 20" rims on a 91 LS400?

I've been going around shopping for twenties for this vehicle. I'm getting mixed reactions on fitting twenties on my car. Some are saying yes they will fit, others are saying they won't fit, I would be better off getting 19"....can anyone here give me their opinions?

I'm getting frustrated

19in would be hard to get tires... you can get 20s... check on the tirerack thread... i've seen 20s on a lot of ls400s but i would go with a 18

20s or 19s will fit for sure with the correct offsets depending on the widths you are running for the front and rear wheels.

Since the 91 LS did not have the lower body cladding, I think it will look funny. Can u add the cladding from the 93, 94 models to help>

If you go with 20 x 8.5 front and back they will fit perfect. I have 20 x 10 front and back and I have slight problems doing U Turns but I don't scrape normally, also remember I have a modiffied body so 20 x 10 won't fit most LS's but I think all LS's would never have a problem with 20 x 8.5. I also think that 18's and 19's are too small for an LS, and if you want to drop your car then go with 19's, I'm not too sure if 20's would hit if you drop the car.

20x9 is the most you can fit up front, and 20x10.5 for the rear on stock LS400s.
