It's that magical time of year for new tires once again. I have a set of the federal 595 right now that I've been pretty happy with. And I'm looking at either getting another set or getting the Cooper set. They're right around the same price, similar ratings, similar pretty much everything as far as marketing for purpose goes. And my personal experience with the Federals has been good but I've heard nothing but good about the Coopers.
over here in Southwest Washington where it rains as often as it doesn't I don't really get the option of the ultra high-performance summer tires.
I really like my tire to be as predictable as possible for fast cornering especially if it's wet or damp out I really don't ever want to have to second-guess whether or not I have traction. The coopers seem to have more tread spacing to shed water.
does anyone have any personal experience with the Coopers?
