Lorenzo LO-2 and Tires
I am thinking about putting Lorenzo LO-2, 20x9, wheels on my GX470. Anyone have any good or bad words on these wheels? Is the 275/45/20 the only size tire I can use with these wheel and vehicle. I would like to good wider and taller to fill out the wheel well. I know a 265/50 would work, but I would prefer a wider tire for so called "performance and handling". Thx!

20's are a waste of hard earned money for an SUV these days in my opinion. Company's are putting 20's and larger on their stock vehicles these days. I would go with that same design wheel, b/c that is a beautiful wheel, but in 22". That would fill your fenders much nicer and give the SUV a more aggressive look. Go with a 305/40/22 tire and that will give you that performance and handling your looking for. The price difference between the 20 and 22 is not that much. If your on this site, most likely your not hurting for money anyways. You can get this package at a local shop near me in Charlotte,NC for around $3000 w/tires.(out the door price)
Go with what you want though, this is just my opinion.

Thanks. I hadn't thought about 22s only because I don't want my ride to be "too noticeable and ghetto". That is part of reason I am looking at the simple style of the LO-2s. I will have to check on the 22" fitment for my vehicle.

Ride quality
You have to keep in mind also that 20 inch will be a stiffer ride quality then the stock 17's and 22 inch will be stiffer still. It all depends on what you like the look of AND what you can deal with in terms of ride quality. I recommend the 265/50 20 on those wheels. It has the same overall diameter as stock.

I know for a fact that the 20x9.5 with 295/45x20 do not rub. The owner of the GX with 22s states "Rubbing is very minimal, it was taken care of by minor modifications to the wheel well." The difference in sidewall is less than 1/2" smaller on the 22s, however the +0.40" width difference on the 305s with a different offset means minimal rubbing. HTH
