The wheel dimensions and tire widths look good, but the aspect ratio (tire diameter) is pretty tall and may cause some rubbing. The purposed front and rear size are about 6% taller than stock.
I just wanted steel rims for the winter because I didnt want nice rims for the snow. But for sure i would need rims that are 42mm offset correct? (because of brake calipers).

To be sure we would want to confirm the manufacturer and specific size you are considering, but a +42 should work in the 18" for this vehicle. Depending on the wheel width it would only push the wheel out a few mm.

Sorry to derail this thread...
@Discount Tire Wondering if you could help out here; posted a thread earlier but no one even so much as gave it a sniff in the last week or so...
I have all-seasons which are winter rated on my recently new-to-me 2007 IS250 AWD. I have the stock 225/45R17 wheels and stock suspension as well; no mods in that area.
I have some Niche racing wheels and summer tires from a 2018 Camry which were gifted me which are 235/50R17.
Question is can I use those tires on my AWD or should I just get rid of the tires and get Lexus recommended sizing for the tires. I'm not running or planning to run a staggered setup here.

I will appreciate any help/info/advice I can get.
No worries, thank you for the inquiry-
The 5% jump in size shouldn't harm the AWD system as long as all 4 tires are the same part number and tread depth. The bigger concern would be the traction control and ABS system, this much change in rolling diameter could cause some issues with those systems.
Although being a 26" tall tire they may not even fit, or if they do could have some rubbing.
Since you already have them you could certainly give them a try however going to the stock sizing or closer to it would be our recommendation.

Congrats on the new ride by the way.
Thank you very much. I will give it a try and see...
Might post a pic when I fit it just to see how it looks and get opinions...
@Discount Tire I put them on for size and so far, it holds up... only the slightest of rubbing which was smoothed out using a heat gun...
No disco lights and everything seems to run and drive smoothly so far. The only thing is she moving quite a bit faster than the odometer indicates (by about 7kph at 100kph indicated) which was expected.
Anyway, I can't afford new tires right now, so these will have to do till lockdown is over and I get back to work. Then I might change the tires. thanks again.
